Why Choose the Seekins Havak Element M3?
The Havak Element is Seekins Precision’s premium lightweight hunting rifle, designed for hunters who count every ounce but refuse to give up accuracy. It rides in a stiff carbon composite stock that holds zero through rough handling, rain and temperature swings, and many configurations use a carbon fiber barrel that is lighter than a steel barrel of similar contour and sheds heat well during a string of shots.
Like every Havak rifle, the Element is built around Seekins’ own action and integral optic rail, with a detachable magazine and a quality trigger. It points naturally, carries comfortably on a sling and has the precision to make a clean shot when the opportunity finally comes after a long stalk.
7mm PRC Performance
Hornady introduced the 7mm PRC in 2022 to give hunters a modern 7mm magnum designed around today’s long, high-BC bullets. It shoots 175 to 180 grain projectiles at excellent velocity with less recoil than a .30 caliber magnum, making it a natural fit for elk, mule deer and other big game in open country. Consistent factory ammunition and a well-thought-out case design make repeatable, tight groups easy to achieve.
Barrel, Finish and Trigger
This rifle uses a 22″ carbon fiber, threaded barrel, so you can add a suppressor or muzzle brake where they are legal. The carbon fiber construction saves weight compared to a steel barrel of similar stiffness and helps dissipate heat during longer strings. Mountain Shadow camo blends grays and muted earth tones to break up the rifle’s outline against rock, timber and high country. The TriggerTech trigger delivers a clean, crisp break with no creep, which makes it easier to shoot small groups.
Who Is the Seekins Havak Element M3 7mm PRC Mountain Shadow For?
This rifle is aimed squarely at big game. The 7mm PRC has the energy and reach for elk, moose, mule deer and bears, and it lets you take ethical shots at distances where lighter cartridges start to run out of steam. Pair it with good bullets and plenty of practice and it will handle almost any North American hunt.

Ordering and FFL Shipping
Because this is a firearm, federal law requires it to ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you rather than to your home. At checkout, add the FFL you want to use, or contact us and we will help you find one. Your dealer completes the transfer paperwork and background check before you take possession. You can learn more about the rules on the ATF firearms page and on our FFL transfer guide. Please confirm that this rifle and its magazine capacity are legal where you live before ordering.
Seekins Havak Element M3 7mm PRC Mountain Shadow FAQ
What is the Seekins Havak Element M3 7mm PRC Mountain Shadow best used for?
If your plans include elk in dark timber, mule deer across a canyon or moose in the north woods, this rifle has the power to do the job cleanly. A magnum-class cartridge like the 7mm PRC carries energy far downrange, which gives you more margin when wind and distance complicate the shot.
What scope rings fit this rifle?
It uses an integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail, so any quality Picatinny rings work. Match the ring diameter to your scope tube (30mm, 34mm or 35mm) and choose the lowest height that clears the objective bell. Browse our Seekins scope rings and mounts for matching options.
Can this rifle ship directly to my home?
No. Firearms ship to a federally licensed dealer (FFL) of your choice, where you complete the transfer.
How many rounds does the magazine hold?
The rifle comes with a 3-round detachable magazine. Spare magazines are available in our magazine section.
