Why Choose the Seekins Havak HIT?
The Havak HIT is Seekins Precision’s chassis-based precision rifle, built for shooters who want accuracy and adjustability in a tough, all-weather package. An aluminum chassis provides a rigid, consistent bedding platform, while the adjustable stock lets you set length of pull and cheek height for a natural, repeatable position behind the scope.
A threaded, match-grade barrel, a detachable magazine and Seekins’ integral optic rail make the HIT a favorite with competitors, law enforcement and long-range enthusiasts. It is the kind of rifle you can set up once, zero, and trust on every outing.
6mm Creedmoor Performance
The 6mm Creedmoor is the cartridge that took over precision rifle competition. Built on the 6.5 Creedmoor case necked down to .243, it launches sleek 105 to 115 grain bullets with very little recoil, so you can watch your own impacts through the scope and correct quickly. Away from the match circuit it is an excellent varmint and predator round and, with quality hunting bullets, a capable deer and antelope cartridge for shooters who value precision over raw power.
Barrel, Finish and Trigger
This rifle uses a 24″ threaded barrel, so you can add a suppressor or muzzle brake where they are legal. The black finish is classic, low-glare and easy to match with scopes, rings and accessories.
Who Is the Seekins Havak HIT 6mm Creedmoor Black For?
This configuration shines in PRS and NRL-style matches, tactical training and long-range steel practice, where low recoil lets you spot your own impacts and fix misses fast. With the right bullets it also works for predators, varmints and deer-sized game.
Setting Up Your Rifle
Most shooters top the Seekins Havak HIT 6mm Creedmoor Black with a quality riflescope in the 3-15x to 5-25x range, depending on how far they expect to shoot. The integral Picatinny rail gives you a rigid, repeatable mounting point; pair it with a set of Seekins scope rings or a one-piece mount so everything is machined to the same high standard. Spare magazines are available in our magazine section. A solid bipod, a rear bag and a good sling complete the setup.
