Why Choose the Seekins Havak Element M3?
The Havak Element is Seekins Precision’s premium lightweight hunting rifle, designed for hunters who count every ounce but refuse to give up accuracy. It rides in a stiff carbon composite stock that holds zero through rough handling, rain and temperature swings, and many configurations use a carbon fiber barrel that is lighter than a steel barrel of similar contour and sheds heat well during a string of shots.
Like every Havak rifle, the Element is built around Seekins’ own action and integral optic rail, with a detachable magazine and a quality trigger. It points naturally, carries comfortably on a sling and has the precision to make a clean shot when the opportunity finally comes after a long stalk.
6.5 Creedmoor Performance
The 6.5 Creedmoor earned its reputation on the firing line. Hornady designed it in 2007 to shoot long, high-ballistic-coefficient bullets from a short action, and it quickly became one of the most popular match cartridges in the country. That same efficiency makes it a superb hunting round. Recoil is mild enough for long practice sessions, factory ammunition is easy to find, and 140 to 143 grain bullets carry plenty of energy for deer, pronghorn and black bear at sensible distances. If you want one rifle that does a little of everything without beating you up, this is the cartridge most experienced shooters recommend.
Barrel, Finish and Trigger
This rifle uses a 20″ barrel. Urban Shadow uses cool grays and black for a clean, modern look that still breaks up the rifle’s outline in shade and timber.
Who Is the Seekins Havak Element M3 6.5 Creedmoor Urban Shadow For?
This is an outstanding choice for whitetail and mule deer, pronghorn, hogs and black bear, and it has the accuracy to double as a long-range target rifle. The 6.5 Creedmoor is easy on the shoulder, which means more time practicing and better shot placement when it counts.
Setting Up Your Rifle
Most shooters top the Seekins Havak Element M3 6.5 Creedmoor Urban Shadow with a quality riflescope in the 3-15x to 5-25x range, depending on how far they expect to shoot. The integral Picatinny rail gives you a rigid, repeatable mounting point; pair it with a set of Seekins scope rings or a one-piece mount so everything is machined to the same high standard. Keep a spare Seekins AICS Short Action Magazine loaded in your pack so you are never caught short. A solid bipod, a rear bag and a good sling complete the setup.
Ordering and FFL Shipping
Because this is a firearm, federal law requires it to ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you rather than to your home. At checkout, add the FFL you want to use, or contact us and we will help you find one. Your dealer completes the transfer paperwork and background check before you take possession. You can learn more about the rules on the ATF firearms page and on our FFL transfer guide. Please confirm that this rifle and its magazine capacity are legal where you live before ordering.
