Why Choose the Seekins Havak Element Hunter M3?
The Havak Element Hunter pairs a lightweight carbon fiber barrel with Seekins’ Havak Hunter chassis, giving you the rigidity and modularity of a chassis rifle in a package built for hunting. The chassis provides a consistent, stress-free bedding platform, and the rifle ships with a muzzle brake and two magazines so it is ready for the field out of the box.
A TriggerTech trigger, an integral optic rail and Seekins’ in-house machining round out a rifle that is equally comfortable on a long-range steel course or a backcountry elk hunt. It is a modern hunting rifle for shooters who like the feel and adjustability of a chassis.
277 SIG Fury Performance
The 277 SIG Fury is the commercial version of the 6.8x51mm round developed for the US Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon program. Its hybrid steel-and-brass case allows very high chamber pressure, delivering magnum-class velocity from a short action and a shorter barrel. For hunters that means flat trajectories and strong energy for deer, elk and similar game in a compact, easy-handling rifle. It is one of the most interesting new cartridges available today.
Barrel, Finish and Trigger
This rifle uses a 20″ barrel. Woodland Shadow mixes greens and browns that suit timber, brush and hardwood country.
Who Is the Seekins Havak Element Hunter M3 277 SIG Fury For?
If your plans include elk in dark timber, mule deer across a canyon or moose in the north woods, this rifle has the power to do the job cleanly. A magnum-class cartridge like the 277 SIG Fury carries energy far downrange, which gives you more margin when wind and distance complicate the shot. It is just as comfortable on a long-range steel course, where its flat trajectory makes first-round hits easier.
Setting Up Your Rifle
Most shooters top the Seekins Havak Element Hunter M3 277 SIG Fury with a quality riflescope in the 3-15x to 5-25x range, depending on how far they expect to shoot. The integral Picatinny rail gives you a rigid, repeatable mounting point; pair it with a set of Seekins scope rings or a one-piece mount so everything is machined to the same high standard. Spare magazines are available in our magazine section. A solid bipod, a rear bag and a good sling complete the setup.
Ordering and FFL Shipping
Because this is a firearm, federal law requires it to ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you rather than to your home. At checkout, add the FFL you want to use, or contact us and we will help you find one. Your dealer completes the transfer paperwork and background check before you take possession. You can learn more about the rules on the ATF firearms page and on our FFL transfer guide. Please confirm that this rifle and its magazine capacity are legal where you live before ordering.
