Why Choose the Seekins Havak Pro Hunter 2?
The Havak Pro Hunter 2 is Seekins Precision’s answer to hunters who want a match-grade rifle they can actually carry up a mountain. It is built on the Havak action, machined by Seekins in Lewiston, Idaho, and set in a carbon composite stock that keeps weight down without giving up rigidity. A detachable magazine makes loading and unloading quick at the truck or in the field, and the integral Picatinny rail gives your optic a solid, repeatable base.
Seekins designs and manufactures its actions, rails and key components in-house, so the parts that matter most for accuracy are held to the same tight tolerances from rifle to rifle. The result is a factory rifle that feels like a custom build, with a crisp trigger, a smooth bolt and the kind of consistency that gives you confidence on the shot that counts.
7mm Rem Mag Performance
The 7mm Remington Magnum has been filling freezers since 1962. It shoots flat, hits hard and offers a wide selection of factory loads from 140 to 175 grains, so you can tune your rifle for anything from pronghorn to elk. Recoil is noticeably softer than most .30 caliber magnums, and ammunition can be found in nearly every sporting goods store. It remains one of the most practical choices for hunters who need reach without excessive punishment.
Barrel, Finish and Trigger
This rifle uses a 26″ threaded barrel, so you can add a suppressor or muzzle brake where they are legal. Mountain Shadow camo blends grays and muted earth tones to break up the rifle’s outline against rock, timber and high country.
Who Is the Seekins Havak Pro Hunter 2 7mm Rem Mag Mountain Shadow For?
This rifle is aimed squarely at big game. The 7mm Rem Mag has the energy and reach for elk, moose, mule deer and bears, and it lets you take ethical shots at distances where lighter cartridges start to run out of steam. Pair it with good bullets and plenty of practice and it will handle almost any North American hunt.
Setting Up Your Rifle

Ordering and FFL Shipping
Because this is a firearm, federal law requires it to ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you rather than to your home. At checkout, add the FFL you want to use, or contact us and we will help you find one. Your dealer completes the transfer paperwork and background check before you take possession. You can learn more about the rules on the ATF firearms page and on our FFL transfer guide. Please confirm that this rifle and its magazine capacity are legal where you live before ordering.
Seekins Havak Pro Hunter 2 7mm Rem Mag Mountain Shadow FAQ
What is the Seekins Havak Pro Hunter 2 7mm Rem Mag Mountain Shadow best used for?
If your plans include elk in dark timber, mule deer across a canyon or moose in the north woods, this rifle has the power to do the job cleanly. A magnum-class cartridge like the 7mm Rem Mag carries energy far downrange, which gives you more margin when wind and distance complicate the shot.

Can this rifle ship directly to my home?
No. Firearms ship to a federally licensed dealer (FFL) of your choice, where you complete the transfer.
